Al Baraka Bank Pakistan Limited 1st Board Meeting.

The first meeting of the Board of Directors of merged entity, Al Baraka Bank (Pakistan) Limited was held on Monday November 22, 2010.

The Board members unanimously accepted the resignation submitted by Syed Tariq Husain as CEO and also unanimously appointed Mr. Shafqaat Ahmed as CEO of Al Baraka Bank (Pakistan) Limited effective from Tuesday, November 23, 2010 (subject to SBP approval)

The Board members while welcoming Mr. Shafqaat Ahmed as CEO of the bank wished him all success and future growth of the bank due to his vast banking experience and expertise.  Mr. Shafqaat Ahmed thanked the Board members for the confidence reposed in him and assured the Board members that he will put his best efforts and his services for  growth and betterment for the bank.
